    Positions Vacant as at 23rd December 2009

    The SCMDC is seeking a bright, enthusiastic person to act in the role of administration assistant, receptionist, retail salesperson and Discovery Centre guide. Duties will include office work and a range of other duties. You will need a positive attitude and be a self-starter with strong customer service skills, a pleasant phone manner and a willingness to assist staff and clients as necessary.

    Selection Criteria: effective interpersonal communication, organizational skills, good literacy and numeric skills, demonstrated reliability, understanding of OH&S, sound general computer skills, interest in the tourism industry.

    Note: This traineeship is a full-time position for a period of 12 months.
    (38 hours per week – Monday to Friday).
